Luego de ser marginado de la selecci\u00f3n de Estados Unidos para el Mundial de Brasil, Donovan anunci\u00f3 su retiro de las canchas al final de la temporada 2014, cuando ten\u00eda 32 a\u00f1os de edad.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, a sus 34 a\u00f1os, Donovan es el \u00fanico jugador que ha ganado seis Copas de la MLS en su carrera -dos con San Jos\u00e9 Earthquakes antes de integrarse con el equipo de Los \u00c1ngeles en 2005.<\/p>\n<p>El Galaxy actualmente est\u00e1 empatado en la segunda posici\u00f3n dentro de la Conferencia del Oeste, a falta de seis partidos por disputar en la temporada regular.
